Project | KP Digital Livelihood Training - World Bank

WDL partnered with the World Bank to provide capacity building training to women in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The purpose of this project was to hone the skills of these women by guiding them on best practices for digital freelancers, and giving them some additional skills that are in high demand such as Graphic designing and Wordpress. WDL implemented a total of 12 training sessions reaching more than 350 women in various districts of KP province over a period of 12 months. These areas included Haripur, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Nowshera, Kohat, Charsadda and Mansehra. The successful pilot led to the provincial government taking it to scale under the KP Youth Employment Program (KPYEP).
